Students pledge to Protect Sovereignty of Constitution

The Constitution Day was celebrated at KMCT Ayurveda College on 26th Nov. On this day, in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India formally adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect on January 26, 1950.  The day was announced as the Constitution day in 2015 by the Government of India as  a mark of tribute to India’s first law minister Bhim Rao Ambedkar, who played a pivotal  role in the drafting of the Constitution.

The programme, organised by National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, was inaugurated by Dr Shubhasree [Principal in Charge – KMCT Ayurveda College], in the midst of students and faculty members.

Dr Suresh [Programme Officer-NSS Unit KMCT Ayurveda College] presided over the programme. Students took a pledge and recited the Preamble to the Constitution. A debate competition was also organized for the students on the theme “Constitution of India”. Dr Vivek [ Asst Professor – KKMCT Ayurveda College] proposed vote of thanks.
