KMCT Ayurveda College, Manassery celebrated “National Ayurveda Day-2018” with a slew of programmes.
The organizers on Monday[ 5th Nov] circulated ten different varieties of medicinal plants free of cost to the people and students. Dr Subhasree [Vice Principal- KMCT Ayurveda College] inaugurated the distribution programme.
The intention was to endorse cultivation of medicinal plants and make consciousness among the people about their significance, said Dr Rema C, Associate Professor at the college. Dr. Dinesh Kumar [Asst. Professor- KMCT Ayurveda College] presided over the function. Consciousness classes were also conducted.
As part of the National Ayurveda Day celebration, a free Ayurveda camp was organized by KMCT Ayurveda Hospital. About 45 patients got benefit from the Camp. For the needy, medicines were given at no cost. The camp was led by Dr Subhasree, Dr Dinesh Kumar and Dr Rema C.
