Medical Aid Given to Flood Affected People

KMCT Ayurveda Medical College doctors have been extending medical care to the people in flood-hit areas. Under the project ‘Ayur Sparsham 2019’ a team of Ayurveda doctors led by AMAI and KMCT Ayurveda Medical College- NSS unit visited the flood-affected areas and distributed medicines for preventing epidemics outbreaks. They also provided medical advice for the people.

A free Ayurveda Medical Camp was also organized. Sri C. K. Saseendran  [MLA-  Kalpetta ] inaugurated the camp. Mr KK Sahad[President -Meppadi  Grama Panchayat] delivered the presidential address. Dr Suresh and Dr Vivek also spoke.

The doctors have visited many houses in Meppadi area, the worst affected area in the recent floods in the district. The kits containing Ayurveda medicines have been prepared at KMCT Ayurveda Hospital, Manassery.
