KMCT Ayurveda Medical College and KMCT Ayurveda Hospital jointly stepped up relief activities for people in flood affected areas nearby Manassery in Mukkam.
A free Ayurveda health check-up was provided to the nearby Rescue Camps — Sarkar Paramb Colony Anganvadi, Rescue Camp- Chengot [Mukkam Municipality], Thottthin Kadavu, Madathinpoyil, Kunnamangalam, Chethkadavu, Kulimad, Pazhoor Madrasa, IHRD North Karassery, Kothanparamba Anganvadi, and Anayamkunnu GLP School. More than 600 people staying in the eleven Rescue Camps benefitted from the camp.
KMCT Ayurveda College and KMCT Ayurveda Hospital authorities expressed their gratitude to govt doctors, forest department and police authorities for making their work stress-free and fast. Medicines were given at no cost.
Apart from medicine, a lump sum amount, food, clothes, blankets, undergarments, sanitary napkins, antiseptic solutions and soaps were also given to the inmates of Rescue Camps.
The health check-up & treatment camp was led by Dr Vidya, Dr Shahana, Dr Vidya Rajendran, Dr Mithun Sankar and Mr Mujeeb [PRO – KMCT Ayurveda Medical College], students, and interns took part in the camp.
